DEVELOPING STORM BARBARA FORMS IN THE EASTERN PACIFIC

A recently formed tropical storm has formed strength in the eastern Pacific Ocean. The system, now known as Tropical Storm Barbara, is currently located about 300 miles south of the coast of Baja California. Meteorologists are expecting that Barbara will intensify over the next few days. The storm is heading northwestward at around 15 mph.
